The Rating System
There are six different categories I have come up with in order to rate each recipe. See below details on what each star means!
- Difficulty of ingredients to find
- 1 star – You should have the ingredients at home
- 2 star – You might have the ingredients at home
- 3 stars – Probably a trip to a normal market
- 4 stars – Two trips to different markets, maybe a specialty store
- 5 stars – A few Special trips to find ingredients
- Perceived difficulty going into the recipe
- 1 Star – going to be easy as can be
- 2 stars – Some technique involved
- 3 stars – Not easy, but not hard
- 4 stars – This will take some effort
- 5 stars – This required non stop attention
- Difficulty after recipe
- 1 star – Easy as can be
- 2 stars – Some technique involved
- 3 stars – Not easy, but not hard
- 4 stars – This took some effort
- 5 stars – This required non stop attention
- Time taken
- 1 star – Less than 30 minutes
- 2 stars – Less than an hour
- 3 stars – Less than 2 hours
- 4 – Less than 4 hours
- 5 stars – 4 hours or more
- Taste
- 1 star – I would not eat this again if someone paid me to do so
- 2 stars – It was okay, probably not going to make again
- 3 stars – It was good, but not a standout dish
- 4 stars – Very very good – great dish with few flaws
- 5 stars – Amazing dish, would make again in a heartbeat
- Make again
- 1 star – No way
- 2 stars – Probably not unless some asked me to
- 3 stars – Maybe for a certain occasion
- 4 stars – Yes I would
- 5 stars – Without a doubt, everyday if I could
